Century Insurance Company Limited, a Lakson Group Company, was incorporated in Pakistan in 1985 as a Public Limited Company and is quoted on Stock Exchanges in Pakistan. It commenced general insurance business in 1989 and since then the company has “Alhamdollilah” maintained continuous growth. The Lakson Group is one of the largest groups in Pakistan with core businesses consisting of packaged goods and services generating sales revenues over Rs. 25 billion per annum. The Group provides employment to over 10,000 persons – it has in its fold 14 (fourteen) Companies of which 7 (seven) companies are quoted on domestic Stock Exchanges. CENTURY has been assigned an Insurers Financial Strength Rating (IFSR) of ‘A’ by JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company Ltd. which signifies “High Capacity to meet Policyholders and Contract Obligations”. The Company has been awarded their highest F&J Ranking of “A+” by M/s. Vital Information Services (VIS). The Company has also been awarded the “Top 25 Companies Award” of the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) twice consecutively for 1997 & 1998.
