Established in 1994, a 20.8 Mw power plant set up to meet the ever growing energy need of industrial consumers and to fulfill the energy need of Ghazi Fabrics International Ltd. This was the first power plant in Pakistan that uses CATERPILLAR engines of USA. The Power plant works on Heavy Furnace Oil and has been confirmed as a ‘Model Installation’ by CATERPILLAR and SHELL. This project helped making Ghazi Fabrics a self adequate project in terms of electricity and aiding it in achieving continuous productions.
