Heart Aerospace’s full-scale X1 test plane has successfully flown over upstate New York. It marks a huge step forward for clean and eco friendly air travel.

The historic maiden flight took place on 12 August 2026, at Plattsburgh International Airport. The experimental aircraft stayed airborne for 27 minutes and reached an altitude of 1,100 feet.

Amazingly the entire test flight used only about $5 worth of electricity to power its four battery-operated engines.

Key Facts About the X1 Test Flight
