The auto sector in Pakistan maintained an upbeat recovery in June 2025 as the number of vehicle sales increased sharply month-on-month as well as year-on-year. The latest figures released by the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) shows that car sales by PAMA members increased 47% month-on-month, reaching 21,773 units in June compared to 14,786 units in May. While the Year-on-year (YoY), sales spiked up to 64%, reflecting a broader rebound in consumer demand and production stability.
Suzuki Alto Sees Major Sales Growth
Suzuki’s Alto, a popular small car, had a 179% increase in sales from May to June. It also did better than it did in June last year.

Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company Sales Breakdown
Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) saw an overall 139% increase in vehicle sales in June. The company sold 13,217 units, up from 5,519 units in May 2025.

In general, the auto industry in Pakistan did well. In June, the number of sold cars amounted to 21,773, which is higher than 14,786 sold in May and reflects a 47 percent increase compared to the previous month.
There was also a strong performance on year-on-year growth as it rose by 64 percent in June 2024. Within the 11 months of the financial year 25, 148,023 cars were sold.
