Fuel prices have gone up again in Pakistan, effective from today. Petrol price is up by Rs2.84 per litre, and diesel (HSD) is up by Rs2.28 per litre, according to a notification from the Petroleum Division.
New fuel prices from today:
Petrol: Rs349 per litre (up from Rs346.16)
High-Speed Diesel (HSD): Rs374.31 per litre
Global oil prices keep rising because of the ongoing conflict between the US and Iran. Fighting near the Strait of Hormuz, a major route for oil shipments, has pushed international fuel prices higher. Pakistan’s fuel rates are moving in line with this.
