Huawei launched the Mate XT 2 Ultimate in China on September 7, 2026. Sales began there on September 12. The phone has not launched in Pakistan yet, and Huawei has not confirmed a global release date. Here is the real price picture, based on Huawei’s own China pricing and how its past tri-fold phones reached Pakistan.
Huawei Mate XT 2 Ultimate Expected Price in Pakistan
Huawei has not set a price for Pakistan. Any figure you see online right now is a guess, not an announcement.
Price trackers already show very different numbers, from around Rs 825,000 to almost Rs 986,000. These come from currency math, not from Huawei.
Three things will decide the real price: the exchange rate on launch day, the PTA tax once the phone gets approved, and whether Huawei sells it here officially or leaves it to importers.
Huawei’s last two Mate XT tri-folds also launched in China only. Pakistani buyers imported them instead. Used units from those models still trade on OLX, priced anywhere between Rs 400,000 and Rs 850,000, depending on condition and storage.

Huawei sells the Mate XT 2 Ultimate only in China for now. It comes in five configurations.

Is It PTA Approved?
The Mate XT 2 Ultimate is not on PTA’s approved list yet. That’s normal for a phone still limited to China.
If you import one, you must register it with PTA within 60 days of using a local SIM. Skip this step, and the SIM will stop working on the phone.
The tax amount depends on the phone’s declared value. As a rough guide, PTA charged about Rs 131,000 on the Huawei Pocket 2, a foldable priced far below this one. Expect the tax on the Mate XT 2 Ultimate to run much higher.
When Will It Reach Pakistan?
Huawei has not confirmed if the Mate XT 2 Ultimate will launch outside China at all. For now, it stays a China-only phone.
Its last two tri-folds followed the same path: no official Huawei Pakistan launch, only private imports months after the China release. This one looks set to follow the same route.
