Huawei launched its new Mate 90 series in China on October 1, 2026. The Mate 90 Pro Max has arrived in China with a camera-focused design that pushes the flagship series into more ambitious territory, and it shares the stage with four other models. The Mate 90 family consists of the Mate 90, Mate 90 Pro, Mate 90 Pro Max, Mate 90 Pro Max Collector’s Edition and Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design, and all five run HarmonyOS 7.
The Mate 90 Pro starts at 6,999 yuan in China. Huawei has not announced a Pakistan launch date or a local price for the phone.
Huawei Mate 90 Pro Price in Pakistan
There is no official Mate 90 Pro price in Pakistan right now. Huawei has only confirmed pricing for the Chinese market so far.
Using the current exchange rate of roughly PKR 278 to one US dollar, and the same CNY-to-USD rate Gizmochina used for the Pro Max (CNY 9,499 equals about $1,417), the Mate 90 Pro’s CNY 6,999 price converts to around $1,044, or close to PKR 290,000.
This is a plain currency conversion. It is not a confirmed retail price. Phones that reach Pakistan through private importers usually cost more once duty, shipping and local taxes get added. Treat PKR 290,000 as a rough guide only.
Huawei Mate 90 Pro Specs
Display
The Huawei Mate 90 Pro features a 6.75-inch LTPO OLED display with 1280p+ resolution and a 1-120Hz refresh rate. It uses a dual-layer OLED panel, capable of 12,000 nits of peak brightness.
Chipset
The Mate 90 Pro is powered by the Kirin 9035 chipset, and the Kirin 9035 is 20 percent faster than the Kirin 9030 chip used before it.
Camera
The Huawei Mate 90 Pro has a 50+50+40MP camera setup, and the ultra-wide camera has a 40MP RYYB sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The camera hardware is close to what shipped on last year’s Mate 80 Pro. Worth noting: the Ruiying Z10 add-on lens that Huawei built for long-range shots does not work on this model. Compatibility is limited to the Mate 90 Pro Max Collector’s Edition and Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design, so the regular Mate 90 Pro misses out on it.
Battery
Another upgrade is the 6,600mAh battery, up from 5,750mAh on last year’s Pro.
Storage and SIM
There’s no memory card slot, but the phone does have a dual-SIM slot and an eSIM.

Will the Mate 90 Pro Launch in Pakistan?
Huawei has not said if or when the Mate 90 Pro will reach Pakistan. The official information currently confirms the phone’s China availability, and there is no India or global launch information established by the Huawei China material used for this report. If Huawei follows the pattern of its past Mate phones, most units sold in Pakistan would likely come through private importers rather than an official Huawei store.
This report will get updated once Huawei or a local seller confirms an actual Pakistan price.
