Pakistan's IT exports to the UAE rose 42% this year. Exports reached $536 million in FY2025-26. Last year, the figure was $376 million.
The news came as Pakistan opened a pavilion at AI Everything Global 2026. The event is being held in Abu Dhabi on October 6 and 7.
Five Pakistani tech companies are taking part. They are showing AI data intelligence, AI surveillance, AI sales tools, and sovereign AI systems.
The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) set up the pavilion. Pakistan's Ambassador to the UAE, Shafqat Ali Khan, inaugurated it.
Trade and Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan led the coordination. The Ministry of IT and Telecom and Pakistan's diplomatic mission in UAE also helped.
More than 500 exhibitors are at the event. It has drawn 150 investors from 70 countries.
Ambassador Khan said Pakistan's tech sector must keep pace with global AI changes. He said building a skilled workforce is key to staying competitive.
