Petrol Price Rises Rs 2.31to Rs 398.96, Diesel to Rs 395.72 in Pakistan

Petrol now costs Rs 398.96 per litre in Pakistan. That is Rs 2.31 more than before. High-speed diesel costs Rs 395.72 per litre. That is up Re 0.78 from the old rate.

The Petroleum Division announced the new rates on October 8, 2026. They took effect two days later, on October 9.

The Petroleum Division blamed movements in the global oil market.

Fresh fighting in the Middle East pushed prices up. That same fighting is why the government is changing how it sets fuel prices.
