Who Can Register
You may register for the Bewa Sahara Card if you:
- Are a widow and a permanent resident of Punjab
- Have a valid CNIC issued by NADRA
- Belong to a low-income household
- Are not already getting another major government cash grant, such as BISP

Documents You Need
Keep these ready before you start:
- Your original CNIC
- Your husband’s death certificate, attested by the Union Council
- Family Registration Certificate (FRC) from NADRA
- A mobile number registered in your own name
- Two passport-size photographs (for in-person registration)
How to Register Online
- Go to the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry portal, or ask staff at your nearest e-Khidmat Markaz to open it for you.
- Create your profile using your CNIC and mobile number.
- Fill in your district, tehsil, and family details.
- Upload your CNIC, death certificate, and FRC.
- Submit the form and save your reference number.
You will receive an SMS once we receive your registration.
How to Register Offline
No internet? You can still register in person:
- Visit your District or Tehsil Social Welfare office, or your nearest e-Khidmat Markaz.
- Ask for the Bewa Sahara Card registration form.
- Fill it out with your CNIC, death certificate, and FRC details.
- Attach two passport-size photographs.
- Hand in the form to the staff on duty.

Is Registration Free?
Yes. Registration for the Bewa Sahara Card is free. No agent, office, or middleman has the right to charge you a fee for it. If anyone asks for money to “process” or “speed up” your registration, do not pay. Report them to your local Social Welfare office instead.
How to Check Your Registration Status
Once you register, you can check your status in two ways:
- Send your 13-digit CNIC number by SMS to 8171.
- Log in to the PSER portal using your CNIC.
If the reply says “record not found,” visit your nearest PSER registration center to update your details.
Why Registration Gets Rejected
A few common reasons registration does not go through:
- The death certificate is not Union Council or NADRA verified
- The mobile number is not registered in the applicant’s own name
- Family details do not match NADRA records
- The household income score is above the set limit
You can fix most of these at your nearest Social Welfare office and register again.
