Oppo has released the rollout schedule for ColorOS 17, its newest Android-based software update. The rollout starts in China on October 8, according to a report by Talk Android, with Oppo's Find series phones first in line.
Pakistan Launch Date
There is no confirmed date yet for Pakistan or any market outside China.
Two names on the list stand out for Pakistani readers: the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro. Both phones are officially sold in Pakistan, where they currently run ColorOS 16. Under Oppo's China schedule, they are set to get ColorOS 17 starting October 22.
That date applies to China only. Pakistani units will likely get the update later, once Oppo confirms a local or global release.

A push date is not a delivery date. Oppo rolls out updates in stages, so a phone can take extra days or weeks to receive it after its batch opens. Oppo can also shift these dates while testing continues.
What actually changes in ColorOS 17
The biggest visible change is a new design style called Fluid Design, which brings the system's animations, visuals and vibration feedback closer together. Oppo also says its new rendering engine uses 25% less memory to open and run apps, and cuts rendering load by up to 30%. New AI features are included too, though Oppo has not detailed every one yet.
The bigger shift is behind the scenes. ColorOS 17 is the first version built to run as one base system across Oppo, OnePlus and Realme, folding in what used to be separate OxygenOS and Realme UI builds. In short, one update calendar now covers all three brands.
