What is a PMT Score?
The PMT score is a financial rating between 0 and 100 based on your household survey (NSER survey).
- Lower Score (Under 32 or 45 depending on the scheme): Means your household needs financial help. You qualify for programs.
- Higher Score: Means your household has necessary resources. You might not qualify.
How to Check Your PMT Score Online (Step-by-Step)
You do not need to pay anyone or visit crowded offices just to check your status. You can do it from your phone.
Through the Official 8171 Web Portal
This is the easiest and completely free way.
- Open your browser.
- Go to 8171.bisp.gov.pk .
- Enter your CNIC number
- Enter the security code.
- Click the Check Eligibility button.
- The screen will display your current status.
Check via SMS
Don’t have internet? No problem.
- Open the messaging app in your phone.
- Type your 13 digit CNIC number (without spaces or dashes).
- Send this SMS to 8171.
- You will receive a reply SMS containing your status.
Visit your local BISP registration center
Is your online data not showing up? Or have you not done your survey yet? Then follow these steps
- Go to the nearest BISP Tehsil office.
- Give them your original CNIC and your children’s B Form.
- Request them for your NSER Dynamic Registry status.
- They will check your CNIC in their system and tell you your exact PMT score.
How to Lower a High PMT Score?
You cannot manually change your score. If your household financial situation has worsened (e.g., loss of a job, medical emergency), visit the nearest BISP office and request a dynamic survey/re-survey to update your details in the NADRA database.
