Display

The Moto G77 has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen. It runs at 120Hz, so scrolling looks smooth.

Peak brightness reaches 5,000 nits. ProPakistani's launch report also lists 10-bit color and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen.

Performance

The phone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6400, built on a 6nm process. It has eight cores. Two run at up to 2.5GHz, and six run at up to 2.0GHz.

The graphics chip is the Mali-G57 MC2. The phone has 8GB of RAM. A RAM Boost feature can add more virtual memory, according to ProPakistani.

Camera

The main camera is 108MP with an f/1.7 lens. It has optical image stabilization (OIS) and 9-in-1 pixel binning. Motorola lists 3x lossless zoom. This is the first 108MP camera in the Moto G series.

The second rear camera is an 8MP ultrawide. The front camera is 32MP.

All three cameras record video at up to 2K (1440p) at 30fps.

Battery and Charging

The battery is 5,200mAh. Charging speed is 30W with a wired charger. There is no wireless charging listed on any source we checked.

Reviewers quoted by MyMobile say the battery lasts a full day, even with heavy use. We did not run our own battery test.

Design and Durability

The front is Gorilla Glass 7i. The back is silicone polymer, also called eco leather. The frame is plastic.

The phone has an IP64 rating. That means it resists dust and water splashes. It is not made for swimming or deep water.

It also meets the MIL-STD-810H standard. GSMArena notes this does not guarantee the phone is rugged.

Software

The phone ships with Android 16 and Motorola's Hello UX. The launch reports we checked do not state a software update promise. Ask your seller for the latest update policy.

Connectivity and Audio

  1. 5G, 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G support
  2. Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band). It does not support Wi-Fi 6.
  3. Bluetooth 5.4
  4. USB Type-C 2.0
  5. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos
  6. No 3.5mm headphone jack

NFC: Sources disagree here. GSMArena, PhonePrice, and the ProPakistani price page list NFC as "Yes". WhatMobile's spec table says "No" and also calls it market dependent. Ask the seller to confirm before you buy.

Memory card slot: The microSD card shares the SIM slot. You may need to choose between a second SIM and a memory card.
