A premium Thai motorcycle brand has officially entered the Pakistani market. It launched five feature rich bikes ranging from 125cc to 250cc to challenge traditional manufacturers.

Automobile industry sources confirmed that Thailand’s renowned motorcycle brand, GPX, has started its business operations in Pakistan. The company partnered with a local firm, Royal Power, to assemble these premium Royal GPX bikes locally. This strategy allows the brand to offer modern design elements, digital meters, and upgraded safety tech. That too at highly competitive price points.

  • According to official product listings, the base model is the Libre 125. It costs Rs 325,000 and targets daily city commuters.
  • For riders looking for more performance, the company introduced the Libre 150 at Rs 375,000. It features an electronic fuel injection (EFI) engine and an anti-lock braking system (ABS).
  • Additionally, a naked-style commuter called the Raptor Plus RZ200 went on sale for Rs 540,000.

Premium Sports Bikes Lead the Flagship Lineup

Market analysts highlighted that the primary attraction for local bike enthusiasts is the premium sports segment. GPX launched two fully faired sports models to directly capture the interest of younger buyers who want track-ready aesthetics without the heavy import price tag.

Model Name Engine Details Price (PKR) Key Features
Demon GR200R 198cc Liquid-Cooled EFI Rs 789,000 Dual ABS, Traction Control, Bluetooth
Demon GR250R 249.6cc Liquid-Cooled EFI Rs 919,000 High Torque, LED Setup, Aggressive Fairing

Focus on Nationwide Spare Parts

Company representatives stated that Royal Power has already established a basic dealership network to handle initial bookings. To resolve consumer fears regarding new foreign brands, the management promised a steady supply of spare parts and proper after sales services across all major cities.

Experts noted that providing reliable repair support will determine whether GPX can successfully disrupt the long-standing monopoly of Japanese brands in the local market.
