Samsung has quietly launched the Galaxy A18 4G. The phone is now rolling out in France, Norway, and Sweden on 17 September 2026. The Samsung Galaxy A18 4G expected price in Pakistan is Rs. 99,000 to Rs. 105,000 after PTA taxes.
It brings a new chip, better water and dust resistance, and long-term software support. Most other hardware stays close to last year’s Galaxy A17 4G.
Samsung Galaxy A18 4G Display and Build
The Galaxy A18 4G has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen. It runs at 1080 x 2340 pixels with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is covered with Gorilla Glass 3.
Samsung has upgraded the build to an IP64 rating. This makes it dust-tight and better at handling water splashes than the older A17, which had an IP54 rating.
The phone is 7.7mm thick and weighs 196g. That makes it a bit thicker and heavier than the A17. It comes in Black, Gray, and Light Blue.
New Chip and Software
The biggest change inside is the chip. Samsung has replaced MediaTek’s Helio G99 with its own new Exynos 1610. Samsung has not shared full details on the chip yet.
The phone runs Android 17 with One UI 9 out of the box. Samsung is promising six years of OS updates. Security updates will continue until the end of October 2032.
RAM options go up to 8GB, with storage options up to 256GB. A microSD card slot supports up to 2TB of extra storage.
Cameras
The Galaxy A18 4G has three cameras on the back. The main camera is 50MP with an f/1.8 aperture, paired with a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. The main camera does not have optical image stabilization.
Video recording tops out at 1080p and 30fps. On the front, there’s a 13MP selfie camera placed inside a notch.
Battery and Charging
The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery rated for at least 1,200 charge cycles. It supports 25W wired charging. Samsung says the battery can reach 50% in about 30 minutes.
Pricing
Pricing so far is only confirmed in Europe. In France, the 4GB + 128GB model costs around $323, with deliveries starting September 18. In Norway, the 128GB version costs around $353, and the 256GB version costs around $556. In Sweden, the 128GB model costs around $337, and the 256GB version costs around $531.
