AI-Powered Ads Now Available in Google Search for Pakistan

Google has revealed plans to expand Ads in AI Overviews to more Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions later this year, with Pakistan included in the rollout. This update will allow businesses to appear directly within AI-generated summaries on Google Search, offering fresh opportunities to connect with potential customers.

Currently, AI Overviews are used by over 1.5 billion people worldwide, and they’ve contributed to a 10% increase in relevant search queries across major markets. With ads now embedded in these summaries, companies in Pakistan can engage users more effectively—guiding them from initial interest to final decision.

What This Means for Businesses?

Google’s new ad format helps brands show up in the most relevant moments. Here’s how:

  • Faster path to conversion: Ads appears in AI-generated responses that users find helpful and engaging, making it easier for them to act.
  • Be the next logical step: Ads are matched to both the user’s search and the AI Overview content, positioning your brand as the ideal follow-up.
  • Reach untapped intent: AI Overviews uncover deeper user needs and emerging questions, allowing ads to show up in moments that were previously hard to access.

 A Smarter Way to Advertise

These ads are part of Google’s broader push to bring AI-powered tools to Search and YouTube. From automating creative production to enhancing ad targeting, Google is helping marketers stay ahead in a fast-changing digital world.
