Gold prices in Pakistan fell again on Wednesday, continuing the downward movement seen in the global market. The price of 24K gold per tola dropped by Rs 2,000, bringing the new rate to Rs 447,500.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APSJA), 10 grams of 24K gold also declined and is now priced at Rs 383,670.
Other categories recorded similar reductions:
- 22K gold: Rs 410,325 per tola — Rs 351,698 per 10 grams
- 21K gold: Rs 391,674 per tola — Rs 335,712 per 10 grams
- 20K gold: Rs 373,023 per tola — Rs 319,725 per 10 grams
- 18K gold: Rs 335,721 per tola — Rs 287,753 per 10 grams
Silver prices, however, saw a slight rise, trading at Rs 6,164 per kilogram, as buyers prepared for the festive season.
Traders said the local market remained steady despite the decline. The dip came after a minor easing in the international gold rate, which directly impacted domestic prices.
