Apple has officially announced its next keynote event for September 9, 2025, at the Steve Jobs Theater. The event will be streamed live on Apple’s website, YouTube, and through the Apple TV app.
Based on Apple’s regular release cycle, pre-orders for the iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to open on Friday, September 12, while the first deliveries and in-store availability will begin on Friday, September 19. As the countdown has already begun, the anticipation of the flagship iPhone is ever-increasing.
Official pricing has not been announced by Apple but experts are expecting a slight rise of approximately 50 dollars over last year’s models. With the right price, it may be as follows:
- iPhone 17 Pro – This will begin at $1,049 with 256GB storage (compared to 128GB last year).
- iPhone 17 Pro Max – The model will be priced at an estimated $1,199 (some estimates are up to 1,249).
Increasing storage capacity has been used by Apple in the past to counter price increases hence the 2025 plan may include increasing base storage.
Features Expected in iPhone 17 Pro Max
Reports from supply chain sources and industry insiders highlight several upgrades for this year’s flagship model:
- Design – Slimmer, lighter body with a redesigned rear camera bar and a new orange color option.
- Display – 120Hz ProMotion OLED screen, with upgraded scratch resistance and anti-reflective finish.
- Cameras – Triple 48mp system, enhanced tele photo lens, enhanced 24MP front camera and potential 8k video shoot.
- Performance- Quickly perform multiple tasks with an A19 pro chip and 12GB of RAM.
- Battery & Cooling – Larger battery, vapor chamber cooling system, and potential reverse wireless charging.
- Software – Launches with iOS 26 and integrated Apple Intelligence features.
Apple is also developing the iPhone 17 Pro Max to be the best-equipped smartphone launch to date, with a more powerful camera setup, a more sophisticated design, and the new A19 Pro chip.
