Petrol Rises by Rs 3.05, Crosses Rs 370 , Diesel Nears Rs 400 in Fourth Straight Hike

Petrol and diesel prices went up again in Pakistan today, September 11, 2026. This is the fourth price hike in a row this week.

New Fuel Prices

Fuel New Price Change
Petrol Rs. 370.80 / litre +Rs. 3.05
High-Speed Diesel Rs. 398.04 / litre +Rs. 5.37

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced the new rates through the Petroleum Division. The rates took effect from midnight on Friday.

In just four days, petrol has gone up by Rs. 24.93 a litre. Diesel has climbed by Rs. 19.99 a litre in the same time.

Why Are Prices Rising?

Global oil prices jumped on Thursday. Brent crude rose past $106 a barrel. US crude crossed $100 a barrel too.

Attacks on ships linked to the Iran conflict have raised worries about oil supply. Houthi forces also took control of Yemen’s Mocha port this week. Tension near the Strait of Hormuz is adding to the pressure.

The government moved to a daily fuel pricing system in July. Local prices now move faster along with the global market.
