Apple and the Japanese fashion label ISSEY MIYAKE have collaborated to introduce a tech-fashion item, Apple ISSEY MIYAKE iPhone Pocket, a limited-edition product. It will be available starting Friday, November 14, at select Apple Store locations and on apple.com across the U.S., U.K., France, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Greater China, and more.
Design and Features
Crafted in Japan, the iPhone Pocket uses a 3D-knitted ribbed structure inspired by ISSEY MIYAKE’s concept of “a piece of cloth.” Designed to fit any iPhone, it can also hold AirPods and small essentials. The flexible open-textile design lets users peek at their phone’s display and wear it in multiple ways — handheld, crossbody, or attached to a bag.

Colors and Pricing
The short strap version comes in lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black, priced at $149.95. The long strap version, available in sapphire, cinnamon, and black, costs $229.95.
Innovation Meets Style
Yoshiyuki Miyamae, design director at MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO, said the accessory “explores the joy of wearing iPhone in your own way.” Apple’s design lead Molly Anderson described it as a reflection of “craftsmanship, simplicity, and delight.” The collaboration perfectly blends Apple’s minimalist design and ISSEY MIYAKE’s textile artistry — just in time for the holiday season.
