Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Tuesday, following a slight downward movement in the global market. The price of 24K gold per tola dropped by Rs 1,200, bringing the new rate to Rs 455,500.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24K gold also decreased and is now Rs 390,520.
Updated gold rates by purity are as follows:
- 24K gold: Rs 455,500 per tola — Rs 390,520 per 10 grams
- 22K gold: Rs 417,651 per tola — Rs 357,977 per 10 grams
- 21K gold: Rs 398,667 per tola — Rs 341,705 per 10 grams
- 20K gold: Rs 379,683 per tola — Rs 325,434 per 10 grams
- 18K gold: Rs 341,715 per tola — Rs 292,890 per 10 grams
Silver prices also edged lower, with silver trading at Rs 6,529 per kilogram in the local market.
Market traders said prices softened due to a minor decline in international gold rates, while local demand remained stable.
