Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Monday, following a slight upward trend in the global market. The price of 24K gold per tola rose by Rs 1,850, reaching Rs 458,000.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APSJA), 10 grams of 24K gold also increased and is now priced at Rs 392,670.
Other categories recorded similar gains:
- 22K gold: Rs 419,951 per tola — Rs 359,948 per 10 grams
- 21K gold: Rs 400,862 per tola — Rs 343,587 per 10 grams
- 20K gold: Rs 381,773 per tola — Rs 327,225 per 10 grams
- 18K gold: Rs 343,596 per tola — Rs 294,503 per 10 grams
Silver prices rose slightly, trading at Rs 6,542 per kilogram, as buyers prepared for the festive season.
Traders said the local market remained steady despite the modest increase. The rise came after a minor uptick in international gold rates, which directly impacted domestic prices.
