Google has introduced AI Pro, a student-specific plan allowing one year of free access to Gemini 2.5 Pro tools in Pakistan and more than 140 countries. The project will assist learners in writing, researching, and preparing to study with advanced AI capabilities built throughout the ecosystem of Google.
The AI Pro plan includes Gemini, Google One, and NotebookLM, which allows the students to work on assignments, summarize lessons, and make study notes without any problems.
Key Features of the AI Pro Plan
- Deep Research: Gathers confirmed data on various platforms and delivers it in a brief referenced way.
- Guided Learning: Breaks down complex issues into stages to enhance the comprehension.
- Smart Integration: Direct writing-help, presentations, and summaries in Gmail, Docs, and Slides.
- Cloud Storage: 2TB of Google One storage (Drive and Photos).
- Verified Access: Registering with SheerID is open to students 18 years old and above.
According to reports, the free plan will be available until December 9, 2025, giving students a limited time to register. Some users noticed a temporary Rs. 158 holds during payment verification, which was later refunded automatically.
Google has assured users that connecting accounts is optional and that no personal data will be used to train AI models. The company plans to enhance the service based on global student feedback.
