The Ministry of Religious Affairs has confirmed that Rs3.45 billion will be refunded to 66,377 pilgrims under the Hajj refund 2025 Pakistan initiative. The refund process has already begun and will be completed by October 31, transferring the amounts directly to pilgrims’ bank accounts.
According to Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, the refund is part of the government’s cost-saving efforts during Hajj 2025, with savings of Rs3.5 billion achieved in accommodation, food, and transport. The Hajj amount refund 2025 will vary depending on the level of facilities received, ranging from Rs12,000 to Rs110,000 per pilgrim. Those who received full facilities in Saudi Arabia are not eligible for refunds.

The Senate Sub-Committee on Religious Affairs has also ordered a full refund of Rs36.43 billion to over 67,000 pilgrims who could not perform Hajj due to private operator issues. The Ministry has clarified that no deductions will be made for exchange or service charges.

Hajj 2026 Packages and Process
For Hajj 2026, the 40-day package is set at Rs1.15 million, while the 25-day short Hajj package will cost Rs1.2 million. The ministry will also distribute travel bags and Saudi SIM cards offering 300–600 call minutes to pilgrims.
