The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) approved Rs2.5 billion to build the Pakistan Maritime Science and Technology Park under the Pakistan Navy.
The meeting was chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb on October 24, 2025.
The committee also approved 45 million UAE dirhams in rupee cover for the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO). This money will repay an overdraft used for FWO’s construction projects in the UAE.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will receive Rs455.984 million to pay for local government elections in the 2025-26 fiscal year.
The committee allowed installing individual electricity meters in the Pakistan Mint Residential Colony. It also approved Rs21.5 million for helicopter spare parts for the Headquarters Pakistan Rangers (Punjab).
Finance Minister Aurangzeb told all ministries and provincial authorities to carry out these projects carefully. He said the steps will help control prices and manage inflation.
