Moto G100 (2025) Debuted with Impressive 7,000 mAh Battery Capacity in China
Motorola has officially launched the Moto G100 (2025) in China, reviving a name last seen in 2021 with a completely redesigned device aimed at the budget segment. The company presented its new smartphone model together with the Moto X70 Air which expands their selection of mid-range devices.
Massive Battery Capacity Takes Center Stage
The defining feature of the 2025 Moto G100 is its extraordinary 7,000mAh battery, which utilizes advanced silicon-carbon high-density technology. The device ranks among the top high-capacity smartphones which dominate the current market offerings. The technology which appeared first in flagship models including the OnePlus 13 now brings a major advancement to affordable smartphones.
Design and Display
Motorola has opted for a conventional design language with the Moto G100. The device features a Full HD+ IPS LCD display which measures 6.72 inches and shows 2400 x 1080 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display brightness achieves 1,050 nits which enables it to function effectively in bright outdoor sunlight conditions.
The back panel includes an air nano leather surface which gives the budget device a high-end feeling. The phone weighs 210 grams and measures 8.6mm in thickness which makes it portable even though it has a large battery.
The device carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Color options include Star Black, Green, and Blue.
Performance Hardware
The Moto G100 receives power through Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset which operates on a 4nm manufacturing process. The processor connects to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM while offering storage options up to 512GB through UFS 2.2 technology. Notably, the device does not support microSD card expansion.
Camera System
The phone includes two back cameras which consist of a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor along with an 8MP wide-angle lens that functions as a macro camera. The device includes a 32MP front camera which users can utilize for taking selfies and making video calls. The camera system allows users to record HD video footage through its electronic image stabilization feature.
Pricing and Availability
Motorola Moto G100 2025 launches in China with a starting price of CNY 1,399 which equals about $196 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. Higher storage configurations are also available. Moto G100 price in Pakistan is approximately PKR 55,200.
