House Building Advance for Federal Government Employees Pakistan: New Salary Advance Limits Announced
The Ministry of Finance has introduced updated House Building Advance Rules for Federal Government Employees under the Federal Government Receipts and Payments Rules 2025. The new policy defines clear limits for the federal employees advance salary scheme.
According to the circular, federal staff in Grades 1 to 16 can now receive an advance equal to 36 months’ basic salary, while officers in Grade 17 and above are eligible for 24 months’ salary.
The ministry clarified that Grades 1 to 16 fall under the “government staff” category, while Grades 17 and above, considered “officers.” All applications for House Building Advance for Federal Government Employees Pakistan to process under the new payment system.
Officials stated that the revised House Building Advance Rules for Federal Government Employees ensure transparent and structured financial assistance for housing purposes. Employees should apply through their respective Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) once the process officially begins.
