The data released by All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA) showed a 51-percent increase in cement exports of Pakistan in the first two months of the present fiscal year 2025.
Cement Exports from Pakistan FY2025
In July and August 2025, cement exports were 1.76 million tons as compared to 1.16 million tons during the same period the previous year. This indicates the high increase in cement exports of Pakistan on an annual basis in FY2025.
In August 2025, cement export was 0.75 million tons, a 22 per cent increase over 0.61 million tons in August 2024. In August, 2025, exports of cement declined by 26 percent as compared to July 2025 when imports stood at 1.01 million tons.
In FY2025, the total sales volume of cement in Pakistan estimated in the first two months, not including exports, is 7.84 million tons. This was an improvement of 6.49 million tons in the same period of the previous fiscal year, indicating a consistent growth in the cement industry of Pakistan.
Industry analysts believe cement exports from Pakistan will continue to fluctuate depending on international demand and regional market trends. The cement industry outlook in Pakistan remains closely linked with both domestic consumption and export performance.
