According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), Pakistan services exports were 18.27 percent higher in July 2025 at $745.52 million than in July 2024 at $630.38 million.
PBS statistics indicate that national services exports increased by an annual average of $115.14 million, thus the new fiscal year started with growth of 18.27%.
Telecommunication, computer, and information services exports in Pakistan contributed significantly to this rise, growing by 23.77%. Exports from this sector increased from $286 million in July 2024 to $354 million in July 2025.
Telecommunication, Computer and Information Services Growth
According to PBS, these digital services remained the leading contributor to services exports in Pakistan. Growth in telecommunication, computer and IT services exports helped boost the overall performance of the services sector.
Miscellaneous services exports also rose by 17.96%, reaching $151 million in July 2025 compared to $128 million a year earlier. Similarly, transport services exports increased by 21.54%, from $65 million in July 2024 to $79 million in July 2025.
Travel Services Exports Decline in Pakistan
On the other hand, travel services exports in Pakistan declined by 20.33%, falling from $59 million in July 2024 to $47 million in July 2025.
Total services exports in Pakistan rose by 18.27% in July 2025, while services imports decreased by 0.61%, dropping from $876.83 million in July 2024 to $871.44 million in July 2025.
As a result, the services trade deficit in Pakistan narrowed sharply by 48.91%, from $246.45 million in July 2024 to $125.92 million in July 2025.
