Local phone production in Pakistan increased in November 2025 to 2.49 million units. Smartphones now make up more than half of all locally made phones. Despite the monthly rise, total production in the first 11 months dropped 3% to 27.6 million units.
Pakistan made 2.49 million mobile phones in November 2025. This is 8% higher than the 2.31 million units made in November 2024, according to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
However, from January to November 2025, local production reached 27.6 million units. This is 3% lower than the same period last year. The lower total is due to slower production earlier in the year.
Smartphones Lead Local Assembly

Industry Outlook
Analysts at Topline Securities said that November’s growth shows that production is slowly improving. They expect phone sales to rise 7–8% in the next year. A stable rupee, lower inflation, and higher buying power will support growth.
Local companies like Airlink Communication and Lucky Cement may also benefit. They assemble popular brands like Tecno, Xiaomi, and Samsung, which are still top sellers in Pakistan.
