JAC Motors Pakistan has begun taking orders on its new pickup, the T9 Frison 2X, a more affordable version of the popular T9 Hunter. The company has announced its launch on its official Facebook page.
The new Frison 2X is priced at Rs. 8,775,000 (ex-showroom), and customers can book it with an initial payment of Rs. 2,300,000. The vehicle will be available through Ghandhara Automobiles Limited (GAL) across Pakistan.
The T9 Frison 2X is designed as a 4 x 2 rear-wheel-drives to achieve the same robust performance and appearance as the 4 x 4 Hunter, but at a more affordable price. The majority of the features are identical and provide comfort, practicality, and a smooth design.
The pickup also gets minor visual changes, including a new front grille and updated alloy wheel design, while its core specifications stay largely unchanged.
According to the company, the ex-showroom price already includes Capital Value Tax (CVT) and New Energy Vehicle (NEV) tax, but not the Withholding Tax (WHT). For a limited time, Ghandhara Automobiles will cover the NEV tax as part of a promotional offer.
