Petrol Price for September 2025 Announced: Latest Rates of Petrol, Diesel, LPG

The Ministry of Finance has released the new notification for petroleum products. According to the official announcement, the petrol price in Pakistan today remains unchanged, while adjustments have been made in other petroleum products. The government has kept the petrol price for September fixed at ₨264.61 per litre. This means the petrol price in Pakistan today continues at the same level as in the previous fortnight. According to the announcement, the price of the high-speed diesel has been lowered by 3 rupees per litre, which is now 269.99 per litre. Kerosene oil is also reduced by -1.46 per litre, which is now costing 176.81 per litre. There has been a reduction in light diesel oil by 2.40 per litre to 159.76 per litre. The government has worked on LPG price also. The new price per kilogram is around 214.3 and the domestic 11.8kg cylinder now costs some 2,527. The today petrol price in Pakistan remains at ₨264.61 per litre, which is unchanged from the previous notification. However, reductions in diesel, kerosene, and LPG are expected to provide some relief in transportation and household energy costs.
