The Punjab Ration Card Program 2025 has officially started. PSER (Punjab Socio-Economic Registry) teams are now visiting homes to register families for the new ration card. The program is led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The aim is to reach poor families directly, without asking them to visit government offices or fill out online forms. People who don’t have smartphones or internet will still get included.
What the Rashan Program Is About
The Punjab Rashan Card 2025 gives food and cash support every month to poor families in Punjab. Main points include:
- Each household gets Rs. 3,000 monthly support.
- Families can use it at utility stores or receive it as cash.
- Over 8.4 million families will benefit.
- SMS updates for registration and delivery.
- Priority for widows, orphans, jobless youth, and daily wage workers.
- The system uses biometric verification to prevent fake entries.
