Realme has introduced its GT 8 series with two powerful flagship devices — the GT 8 and GT 8 Pro. Realme GT 8 Pro price in Pakistan is set at PKR 199,999, while the Realme GT 8 will be priced cheaper. Realme GT 8 Pro launch date in Pakistan is on December 31, 2025.
Display Quality
Each smartphone includes the same 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440×3136 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Both displays can reach an outstanding 2,000 nits of typical brightness and an astounding 7,000 nits in peak brightness in localized areas. The GT 8 Pro also features Dolby Vision support for improved HDR content. The two devices are capable of supporting HDR10+ for superior viewing experiences.
Camera Systems
Both models feature Ricoh-tuned camera systems with 50MP main sensors (f/1.8, OIS). GT 8 Pro includes a 200MP periscope telephoto (3x optical, 12x lossless zoom), 50MP ultrawide (116°), 8K video recording, and a 32MP front camera. The GT 8 offers a 50MP telephoto (3.5x optical zoom), 8MP ultrawide (112°), and 16MP front camera. Both support Ricoh’s signature shooting modes, including Monochrome and High-contrast Black & White.
Battery & Charging Power
Each of these handsets has a large dual-cell battery, weighing in at 7,000mAh, which is among the largest capacities in any premium smartphone. The GT 8 Pro has superfast 120W wired charging (43 minutes to a full charge), 50W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. The GT 8 has 100W wired charging, reaching full charge in an estimated 45 minutes, making both phones great options for heavy users.
Design & Build Quality
Both phones come in three stunning colors: Blue, Green, and White, with a premium build quality. The green phone has a unique textured finish, while blue and white have a smooth matte finish. The GT 8 Pro is 8.2mm thick, which is slimmer than the GT 8’s 8.55mm, both while using 7,000mAh batteries.
The GT 8 Pro launches a new modular camera system with removable and magnetic camera shields available in a square, round or robot style. The GT 8 Pro also continues to achieve high IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.
