The Samsung Galaxy A77 5G is shaping up to be the big return of the Galaxy A7 series. Samsung hasn’t released an A7x phone since the Galaxy A73 back in 2022, but a new leak suggests the wait may finally be over.

A prototype of the Galaxy A77 5G has appeared on Geekbench, giving us an early look at its power. The phone is listed with 8GB of RAM and Android 16, showing Samsung is preparing it for the next software generation.

It also uses a deca-core Exynos chipset, linked to the Exynos 2400 family. The A77 5G features three 2.78 GHz prime cores, three 2.30 GHz performance cores, and four 1.82 GHz efficiency cores, providing the A77 with excellent performance and remaining power-efficient.

The device may also feature the Xclipse 940 GPU, known for strong graphics on Samsung’s higher-end chips. Early Geekbench scores — 1,673 single-core and 5,697 multi-core — suggest a clear upgrade over current mid-range options like the Galaxy A56.

If Samsung launches it alongside the rumored Galaxy A57, the A77 5G could arrive around March, with more details expected soon.
