Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Monday, in line with a slight upward trend in the international market. The price of 24K gold per tola went up by Rs 5,200, taking the new rate to Rs 465,000.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24K gold also moved higher and now stands at Rs 398,670.

Traders said gold prices rose due to a mild recovery in global rates, while local demand remained steady.
