Wuling Binguo EV Arrival in Pakistan? Compact Chinese EV Seen at Karachi Port

KARACHI – A shipment of small electric cars has been seen at Karachi port, raising talk of a new addition to Pakistan’s growing EV market.

Footage from a local yard shows several compact electric hatchbacks parked alongside an MG ZS EV. This suggests that the vehicles may be part of an upcoming launch.

The cars have been identified as the Wuling Binguo EV, a subcompact hatchback produced by Wuling Motors, under the SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) joint venture. SGMW also manages the MG brand, which is already available in Pakistan.

The Binguo EV has gained strong sales overseas. In China, it holds nearly 6 percent of the battery electric vehicle market this year. The model has also been introduced officially in Indonesia.

If launched in Pakistan, the Binguo EV would further expand the lineup of Chinese-made EVs and mark another step toward promoting electric mobility in the country.
