Good news for pilgrims planning to perform Hajj — around 16,000 seats remain unfilled under Pakistan’s Private Hajj Scheme, according to ARY News.
Officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) confirmed that the booking portal for private Hajj will close on October 17, leaving only a few days for registration. So far, 44,000 applicants have secured their spots, while private operators continue accepting bookings from a total quota of 60,000 pilgrims, reduced from 90,000 last year.
The ministry also announced that 21,654 previously deferred pilgrims will be accommodated this season. For Hajj 2026, an additional 37,903 new applicants may apply under the private scheme, alongside 22,097 who have already been re-registered for priority processing.
Meanwhile, the Government Hajj Scheme 2026 application phase has concluded. During the 17 days of submission (both online and offline on a first-come, first-served basis), MORA received 118,061 applications throughout the country.
With the government scheme, applicants have paid half of the total amount as an initial deposit, and the remaining amount is due by November 1, 2025. All-inclusive Hajj will be PKR 1.15 million to PKR 1.25 million, depending on the location and the span of residence in Saudi Arabia.
