Pakistan’s textile industry has earned $6.39 billion in exports from July to October 2025. This is 4% higher than the $6.14 billion earned during the same months last year.
In October, textile exports were $161 million. This is 0.57% lower than September and almost the same as October 2024, when exports were $162 million.
Experts say small monthly changes are normal and do not affect the overall growth trend.
Local Production Shows Growth
Textile production in Pakistan also increased. In the first quarter of the year, production grew by 1.88%. In September alone, production rose 5.95%.
Analysts link this growth to better efficiency in factories and higher international demand for Pakistani textiles.
Which Products Led Growth
A report by Arif Habib Limited showed that products like knitwear and ready-made clothes led the growth in exports. Where ready-made garments contributed $1.4 billion, knitwear exports alone reached $1.9 billion.
Products also became cheaper and more competitive in global markets due to the stability of the Pakistani rupee.
Experts believe that textile exports will continue to grow. Better quality, new designs, and government support will help the industry.
This recent record shows textiles are important for Pakistan. They provide jobs and earn foreign money.
