Gold got cheaper in Pakistan again on Tuesday. The price of one tola of 24-karat gold fell by Rs800, bringing it down to Rs465,336. The drop came right after Monday’s much bigger fall of Rs1,800, so gold has now dropped for two sessions in a row.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) shared these rates. It also said the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs686, now standing at Rs398,950.
In the world market, gold fell by $8 to reach $4,428 per ounce, including a $20 premium. This follows Monday’s bigger international drop of $18 per ounce.
Silver also moved lower. Its price fell by Rs50 per tola, taking it down to Rs7,129.
