Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday, following a slight upward trend in the global market. The price of 24K gold per tola rose by Rs 10,000, bringing the new rate to Rs 459,000.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APSJA), 10 grams of 24K gold also increased and is now priced at Rs 393,530.
Other categories recorded similar gains:
- 22K gold: Rs 420,870 per tola — Rs 360,736 per 10 grams
- 21K gold: Rs 401,740 per tola — Rs 344,339 per 10 grams
- 20K gold: Rs 382,610 per tola — Rs 327,942 per 10 grams
- 18K gold: Rs 344,349 per tola — Rs 295,148 per 10 grams
Traders said the local market remained steady despite the rise. The increase came after a minor upward movement in the international gold rate, which directly impacted domestic prices.
