HONOR China officially introduced its flagship Magic8 series, with Honor Magic 8 Pro release date being October 15, 2025. The recent smartphone release demonstrates a major technological advancement because it delivers both superior battery life and advanced AI functionalities.

Honor Magic 8 Pro enters the market with a starting price of CNY 5,699 which converts to about $800 for its 12GB/256GB model. The device belongs to the premium category because of its price point. The base model of Magic8 comes with a starting price of CNY 4,499 which converts to roughly $630 while delivering flagship features.
Battery Power That Lasts Days
Both phones feature enormous batteries—7,200mAh in the Pro and 7,000mAh in the base model. Honor Magic 7 Pro receives a major upgrade through this new device which delivers better performance and extended battery operation compared to its competitors. The Pro model supports 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, ensuring faster power-ups and reduced downtime.
Camera and AI Excellence
Magic8 Pro has a 200MP telephoto camera with 3.7x optical zoom, along with 50MP main and ultrawide cameras. Both phones include an AI button for Honor’s Yoyo assistant to help with daily tasks and productivity.
Looking Ahead
Honor presented their new Honor Robot Phone concept at the event which showed a foldable device concept with advanced camera features that they plan to release during 2026. Honor Magic 8 Ultra did not receive any official announcement yet the existing models demonstrate impressive results through their Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 performance and IP68/IP69K protection and Android 16-powered MagicOS 10 system.
