Pakistan–US friendship entered a new phase after a high-level meeting between Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and US President Donald Trump at the White House. According to Jang, Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain, President of the US-Pakistan Business Development Forum, said the meeting has set the stage for stronger bilateral relations and future cooperation.
Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain stated that the historic Pakistan–US meeting aims to boost Pakistan–US trade, investment, culture, and social development. He said that new and stronger avenues of cooperation will enhance economic growth and technological innovation. The US-Pakistan Business Development Forum plans to continue building a bridge of mutual trust and long-term prosperity between the two countries.
Jang news states that Pakistan-US relationship presents broad economic growth and business development prospects, as well as the exchange of technologies. Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain emphasized that a strong multi-dimensional partnership can create new trade opportunities and support future projects in investment and innovation.
The Forum President also noted Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability. He highlighted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s commitment to advancing talks between Israel and Palestine and supporting lasting peace in the Middle East.
Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain said the White House meeting will open doors to a future based on mutual trust, shared objectives, and economic cooperation. He added that Pakistan is ready to strengthen Pakistan–US relations through joint initiatives for global peace, security, and prosperity.
The US-Pakistan Business Development Forum will continue efforts to enhance bilateral trade, business development, and long-term economic partnership between Pakistan and the United States.
