The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a vehicle biometric verification facility for Sindh vehicle transfers to simplify ownership transfers of cars and motorcycles.
The initiative lets citizens complete biometric verification for vehicle transfers using the Pak‑ID mobile application without visiting a NADRA center in person, and then proceed with documentation at the Sindh Excise Department.

The online biometric verification lets vehicle buyers and sellers check their identity before completing the vehicle ownership transfer in Sindh. Users scan their fingerprint or face in the Pak ID app, then complete the transfer at the excise office.
Steps to Complete Biometric Verification
- Download the Pak ID app. You can find it on Google Play or Apple App Store.
- Log in with your CNIC.
- Select “biometric verification for vehicle transfer”.
- Scan your fingerprint or face in the app.
- Submit confirmation and visit the Sindh Excise Department to finish the transfer.
