Virgin Atlantic Flights Pakistan: Restart After Two-Year Suspension

According to aviation sources, Virgin Atlantic flights Pakistan operations suspended in 2023 but have now been cleared to resume by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The British carrier will operate through Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, linking Pakistan once again with its global network.

The airline will provide services on key routes between London and Pakistan’s major cities, including Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore. The move will enhance passengers movement between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. The services of Virgin Atlantic airlines Pakistan will now enable the passengers to reach international locations using its London hub.

In 2023, Virgin Atlantic had suspended flights to Pakistan, including London Heathrow connections with Lahore and Islamabad. At that time, the airline stated it was reviewing its overall network as part of its global flying programme adjustments.

Virgin Atlantic Airways, established in 1984, operates under Virgin Atlantic Limited. The airline is 51% owned by Virgin Group and 49% by Delta Air Lines. Its head office is located in Crawley, West Sussex, England. Virgin Atlantic’s first flight was launched in 1984 from London–Gatwick to Newark.
