Samsung is preparing to launch their next flagship, Galaxy S26 Ultra, based on the success of Galaxy S25 Ultra. The initial leakages indicate minor yet useful improvements, such as the enhanced camera, faster charge, and the design and the premium feel remain the same.

Better camera light capture
According to recent leaks, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will keep its 200 MP main camera — same as Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra — but use a wider f/1.4 aperture (compared with f/1.7 on the S25 Ultra). That should let in more light, improving photos especially in low‑light situations.
Faster charging and small design tweaks
The S26 Ultra is expected to offer much quicker charging: wired charging might rise from 45 W to 60 W, and wireless charging could reach 25 W — a welcome boost for heavy users. The handset may also get slightly slimmer and lighter.
Performance and display refinements
Under the hood, the S26 Ultra may use the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which promises more speed and efficient performance. The display is likely to stay at 6.9‑inch QHD, but come with improved OLED panel material (M14), offering better energy efficiency and possibly improved brightness or longevity.

Expected to remain expensive
As for price, sources suggest the Galaxy S26 Ultra might launch around US $1,299 to $1,399 — similar to or slightly above the S25 Ultra’s starting price.
In short: the S26 Ultra seems to be more of a refined upgrade than a radical overhaul. If you value faster charging, a few camera refinements, up‑to‑date processor and modest design tweaks — it could be worth waiting. But if you already own the S25 Ultra, the changes may not feel dramatic.
