Pakistan Secures $200 Million in Foreign Direct Investment in July

Pakistan received $208 million in net foreign direct investment (FDI) in July 2025. This is 7% more than the $195 million received in July last year.

In total, foreign investors brought in $317 million during the month. This is an 11% increase from $285 million in July 2024.

At the same time, $109 million was taken out by investors. This is 21% higher than the $90 million that left the country in the same month last year.

China: $51 million

Hong Kong: $30 million

Switzerland: $21 million

United Arab Emirates: $20 million

United Kingdom: $17 million

The power sector got the most money, with $70 million in investment. The financial business sector was second, receiving $59 million.
