Apple Set to Announce New Products on September 9

Apple has confirmed it will hold its annual fall event on September 9. The launch will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California.

The company is expected to introduce new iPhones, Apple Watches, and other updated devices. The event will also focus on how Apple is adding artificial intelligence (AI) to its products. Investors are paying close attention. Apple faces pressure as other tech companies moves faster with AI features.

Reports say Apple may launch a thinner iPhone, possibly called the iPhone Air, similar to its iPad Air and MacBook Air lines. Other expected products include:

• New entry-level and high-end Apple Watches
• Upgraded iPad Pro models
• A faster version of the Vision Pro headset

Apple is also responding to global trade pressure. To mitigate the risks, the company has upped its projected investment in the U.S. to $600 billion in four years. This action is expected to create employment and relocate production to the U.S.

Nevertheless, Apple would have to pay tariffs on goods imported to the U.S., including those manufactured in China and India.

In June, Apple announced AI-powered software updates and a redesign of its operating system. The new design includes updated icons and a “liquid glass” visual style. However, Apple’s progress in AI has been slower than rivals. Companies like Samsung, Honor, and Huawei are gaining ground with AI features in their phones.
