Currency in circulation fell to PKR 10,685 billion in the week ending October 31. This is a 0.6% drop from the previous week, when it stood at PKR 10,748 billion. Since the start of the fiscal year, currency in circulation has grown by 0.5%.
Broad money (M2) increased to PKR 40,392 billion, up 2.1% from the prior week’s PKR 39,577 billion. Despite this weekly rise, M2 has decreased by 1% since the fiscal year began.
