The National Highway Authority NHA has introduced the revised Lahore- Islamabad Motorway (M2) tolls rates 2025 that will come into effect on August 26, 2025, and end on August 25, 2026. The revision is in line with the 10 per cent increment in the concession agreement between Motorway Operations and Rehabilitation Engineering (Private) limited which is a sub-venture of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The project based on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) is planned to be conducted on the basis of the agreement signed on April 23, 2014.
According to the new M2 motorway toll rates 2025, the charges are as follows:

Cars, Jeeps, and Taxis (Class 1): Rs 1,330 (Rs 3.72 per km)

Wagons (Class 2): Rs 2,240 (Rs 6.24 per km)

Buses (Class 3): Rs 3,130 (Rs 8.73 per km)

2-Axle Trucks (Class 4): Rs 4,460 (Rs 12.45 per km)

3-Axle Trucks (Class 5): Rs 5,800 (Rs 16.20 per km)

Articulated Trucks (Class 6): Rs 7,460 (Rs 20.83 per km)
The annual increase in toll taxes 2025 Pakistan is part of the NHA’s policy to maintain operational efficiency and comply with the BOT agreement, which mandates adjustments from the second operational year onwards.
The commuters travelling through the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway in 2025 should be ready to accommodate the new toll amounts that will kick off effect on 26 August 2025. All vehicles in the specified classes affected by these new rates and they will apply along the entire route of the M2 motorway.
